Originally, Xytron's goals were to handle only aspects of the Computer Output Microfiche Services, or printing alternatives industry -- with Quality, Security and Reliability as the watchwords. However, the resounding success and continued growth of Xytron prompted the directors to expand the services to include all aspects of document & computer output management.
Xytron International, Inc. was founded in January of 1990 and pioneered outsourcing in the Philippines. Xytron opened as a full service COM ( Computer Output Microfiche ) Service Bureau -- the first of its kind in the Philippines. The concept was to offer the highest quality COM Service to Philippine mainframe users at prices rivaling in-house COM production.
In mid 1993, Xytron introduced Facilities Management (FM) for COM, and computer output printing to the Philippines via an agreement with the Bank of the Philippines Islands. Under Facilities Management, Xytron provides on-site COM, COLD and/or Laser Printing services as a package to the larger computer output users -- including the equipment, software, personnel and expertise to fully implement, operate and maintain a successful multimedia computer output program with no capital outlay for the user. Our FM agreement have become the template for agreements of this type in the Philippines.
In 1995, Xytron opened the first outsource electronic printing service for voluminous printing requirements. We place your Marketing Department in charge of your printed material with PReS, our powerful print management software. In conjunction with our PReS software and Alchemy Document Management System, we can laser hard copy, CD ROM, Optical Disk simultaneously.
In 1997, we added full mail-handling services to our printing lineup. Our Bell & Howell Automated Inserting System allows us to handle up to 9,000 envelopes per hour. Folding, stuffing labeling and staging for distribution as an outsource service - another first for the Philippines!
Our Print facilities can print up to 1,360 pages per minute in continuous forms and several hundred pages per minute in high resolution cut sheet - giving full coverage for the entire Metro Manila area with the fastest turnaround time possible.
